About This Model
The Napa Valley tank car was a special limited production by United Model Distributors (UMD) for the Loose Caboose hobby shop in Napa, California. Only 1000 of these cars were made and were sold exclusively through the Loose Caboose hobby shop.
The original art work used for this car was based on an Aristo-Craft model done in G gauge. Successful sales of the G gauge model, as well as other Napa Valley trains, inspired the Loose Caboose to commission an O-27 version.
Loose Caboose was the first to do a special run through UMD Industrial Rail.
