We had an amazing time at Lake County Farmpark’s Railroad Days. Our model train club was honored to be one of three featured layouts, and we had such a great time connecting with the community.

It was fun showing off all the details we’ve worked on—everything from tiny landscapes to smooth-running trains. We loved seeing the smiles on people’s faces as they got to see our trains in action and ask questions about how we build everything. This event attracts a much younger crowd than our others, making it a wonderful chance for us to share the hobby with a new generation.

There was also an incredible Lego Village on display, complete with working Lego trains. It was mind-blowing to see such creativity, and it was a hit with everyone—young and old.

Railroad Days was a weekend packed with trains, crafts, and so many cool displays. We appreciate the Lake County Farmpark for hosting such an awesome event and can’t wait to attend again next year!
