About

The Mod Squad is a group of model railroaders from Northeast Ohio who share a love of trains. The group was founded by TCA members who were inspired during a meeting at the 2019 Spring York. After several months of planning and collaboration, they began building modules and were ready for their first show that fall.

What makes the Mod Squad s a modular railroad—members each bring individual sections of the layout to events rather than having a permanent display. This allows for creative scenes, ranging from realistic to whimsical, all coming together to make an exciting display at train shows.

The Mod Squad is a supportive and friendly community. Members collaborate on building and maintaining the layout, always sharing ideas and expertise.

If you’re interested in seeing vintage or modern models, we’ve got it. You’ll always find great scenery, action, and friendly members ready to answer questions.

About the Authors: We’re a couple of homeschooled boys and proud members of the Mod Squad train club. We are learning about website building and content management. This site is a way to blend our love for computers, model trains, and learning—all in one! We will share all the work that goes into making a train club work.
